About
Massimo Cedrini was born in Novafeltria, a charming town in Rimini, Italy, where his early fascination with nature and painting took root. At age seven, he relocated with his family to Turin, where he later graduated in 1974 from the C.I.P. Istituto d’Arte as a Graphic Designer. Until 1979, he honed his skills in prominent Turin advertising studios. His deep passion for nature, animals, and the feminine essence inspired a shift from commercial work to a more transcendent form of painting.
In 2014, Cedrini settled in Marbella, Spain, on the vibrant Costa del Sol, opening his first gallery, EXCELLENCE ART GALLERY, in the historic center. In 2017, he expanded with a second gallery on Marbella’s Golden Mile, incorporating a small restaurant. Today, he focuses on creating art that transcends market approval, aiming to spark profound reflection on the animal world, nature, humanity, and transcendental philosophies through his collection, Amor Est Vitae Essentia.
Cedrini has showcased his work at over 30 international art fairs in cities including Miami, New York, São Paulo, Paris, Monte Carlo, Zurich, Brussels, Luxembourg, Milan, Florence, Rome, Innsbruck, Düsseldorf, Barcelona, Madrid, and Marbella, amassing over 200 solo and group exhibitions. His works have been displayed alongside those of renowned figures like Spanish filmmaker Bigas Luna, Pablo Picasso, and Belgian artist Erik, a leading flamenco artist of the 1970s. His art has also graced prestigious venues such as the Mazzoleni Foundation in Milan, the Casa Museo Palacio del Virrey in Jerez de la Frontera, and the Mazzucchelli Foundation in Brescia, Italy.
In 2025, Madrid Magazine honored Cedrini with an award for his distinguished 25-year international career.
